The Pestrol Commercial Bird Repeller 1000 is designed to deter pest birds from large areas like farms, yards, orchards, and gardens. By mimicking the calls of predatory birds, it keeps nuisance species such as sparrows, blackbirds, pigeons, crows, and starlings away. It also includes a PIR function for added security, detecting movement to activate the device.
How It Works
The Bird Repeller uses recorded sounds of hawks, falcons, eagles, and owls to scare off unwanted birds, exploiting their natural fear of these predators. It also deters rodents and rabbits. The PIR function allows the repeller to act as a security device by sensing intruders and activating.

Installation Instructions
- Placement: Mount the Bird Repeller on a post or wall near a power source.
- PIR Mode: Covers a 130-degree area up to 30 feet. Adjust volume and let the device activate when birds enter the zone. Time interval function is inactive in this mode.
- AUTO Mode: Emits sounds at intervals between 5 and 30 minutes. Adjust the interval and volume with the knobs. The LED indicator flashes according to the interval setting.
- Photocell: Disables the device in low light. You can also manually turn it off by switching to the OFF position.
- Optimal Placement: For small areas or security, install 1 to 2.5 meters above the ground. For large areas, use AUTO Mode and adjust the interval as needed. Experiment with different locations for best results.
Important Notes
- Water Resistance: Do not immerse in water or liquids.
- Maintenance: Avoid modifying internal components. Clean the lens with a damp cloth only—avoid benzene, alcohol, or paint thinner.
- PIR Function: Detects warm-blooded movement to activate the repeller.
